About the Role:
We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Insurance Service Representative with a strong background in Property & Casualty insurance to join our team. In this role, you’ll work closely with clients, carriers, MGAs, and wholesalers to support policy servicing, renewals, and placement of complex risks. What You’ll Do:
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients, handling inquiries related to P&C policies, billing, claims, and coverage options
- Process policy changes, endorsements, cancellations, and renewals accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with MGAs, wholesalers, and carriers to quote, bind, and issue policies for both standard and surplus lines
- Prepare and review applications, loss runs, and underwriting documentation for submission
- Assist producers with marketing risks to multiple markets, ensuring competitive placement and compliance
- Maintain detailed records of client and carrier communications within the agency management system
- Proactively follow up on outstanding documentation, endorsements, and pending items
- Stay current on underwriting guidelines, market appetite, and carrier/MGA procedures
- Perform administrative support including document scanning, filing, data entry, and report generation
What You Bring:
- Prior experience in a Property & Casualty insurance agency or brokerage setting
- Familiarity with working with MGAs, wholesalers, E&S markets, and binding authority practices
- Strong working knowledge of personal and/or commercial P&C lines
- Active P&C insurance license (or ability to obtain)
- Proficiency in agency management systems (e.g., Momentum/NowCerts, Applied Epic, HawkSoft) and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
