Facilities Supervisor
Location: Slatersville, RI
Shift: Full-time, First Shift Monday - Friday normal business hours

What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead & Develop a Team: Supervise and coach a team of skilled maintenance personnel across all shifts. Evaluate performance and help team members grow in their roles.
- Facility Oversight: Oversee all aspects of facility maintenance including machinery, buildings, grounds, landscaping, and parking areas.
- Ensure Safety & Compliance: Maintain the building’s fire systems, sprinkler systems, HVAC, plumbing, compressed air, and electrical systems. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Vendor & Contractor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with outside service providers, oversee contractor work, and ensure high standards are met.
- Emergency Response: Serve as the go-to person in facility-related emergencies (e.g., floods, fire, power outages) to minimize downtime and resume operations quickly.
- Environmental Programs: Oversee pest control efforts, ensuring effective service from third-party providers and addressing any issues quickly.
- Project Management: Coordinate and support facility upgrades, renovations, and expansions. Provide hands-on support and technical direction as needed.
- Annual Shutdown & Budgeting: Plan and execute the annual plant shutdown. Assist with creating and managing the facilities budget.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, contractor performance, and associated costs.
What You Bring to the Table
- A Rhode Island Journeyman’s Electrician License is preferred, but not required—we are open to candidates willing and able to obtain it.
- 6 years of experience in facilities or maintenance roles, ideally within a manufacturing setting
- Proven leadership skills—you’ve successfully led teams and managed projects
- Broad knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
- Solid communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and planning
Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
