Are you looking for a challenging role that utilizes your expertise in geospatial data collection? We are seeking an experienced Assistant Survey/Project Manager to join our team at Storm Search in Hightstown, NJ.
The role involves preparing proposals, contracts, permits, and reports, consulting with clients, and drafting maps. It also includes overseeing field surveys and recording data of marked utilities using electronic tools.
This position requires cross-training in utility locating theory, including surface, subsurface, and aerial utilities such as gas, water, sewer, phone, power, and CATV lines.
Key Tasks:
- Utilize data collectors, total stations, and GPS/GNSS technology to collect and record field data.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of field data collection.
- Collaborate with the branch manager (SULM) and CADD manager to ensure QA/QC procedures and data accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, Associate degree, or certification in Surveying or a related field.
- PLS, LS, or PSM licensure in at least one state.
- High proficiency with data collectors, total stations, and GPS/GNSS technology.
