IT Audit Associate Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Audit Planning & Execution:

• Lead and manage the audit process, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
• Develop and execute audit plans in line with organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure audits are completed within established deadlines and budgets.

1. Team Supervision:

• Supervise and mentor audit staff, ensuring effective and efficient performance.
• Provide guidance and training to junior auditors and staff.
• Allocate work and provide regular feedback on performance.

1. Risk Assessment & Compliance:

• Identify areas of financial and operational risk and develop strategies to address them.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, internal policies, and industry best practices.
• Evaluate internal controls and recommend improvements where necessary.

1. Reporting & Documentation:

• Prepare and review audit reports, highlighting key findings, risks, and recommendations.
• Communicate audit results to senior management and other stakeholders.
• Ensure audit documentation is complete, accurate, and in line with audit standards.

1. Client Relationship Management (if applicable):

• Maintain positive relationships with clients (internal or external).
• Understand client needs and provide advice on improving financial and operational controls.

1. Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated on industry trends, changes in accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Recommend improvements to the audit process to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CIA, or other relevant certifications preferred.
• Experience: Several years of experience in auditing, with at least a few years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and financial regulations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
