Production Manager – Remanufacturing & Paint Operations
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee remanufacturing operations and paint departments at our facility in Solomon, KS . This role is critical in driving operational excellence, employee training, safety adherence, product quality, and process improvement while meeting production goals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Leadership & Communication – Set clear expectations, provide timely feedback, and ensure employees are aligned with company objectives.
- Safety & Compliance – Enforce safety protocols, track training completion, and ensure compliance with industry and company regulations.
- Production & Process Improvement – Drive lean manufacturing initiatives , enforce quality standards, and optimize production workflows to meet efficiency goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with service center managers, supervisors, and support teams to achieve operational objectives.
- Data-Driven Decision Making – Track and report daily production metrics , analyze performance data, and implement strategies to improve productivity.
- Equipment & Quality Control – Ensure safe equipment use, schedule maintenance, and uphold product quality standards through corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ideal Candidate :
10 years of multi-department management experience in electromechanical or transformer production (power industry or related field).
Expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies (preferred).
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office ; experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus.
OSHA10 certification (preferred) and a strong track record of safety and quality excellence.
Ability to manage team performance, training, and process improvement in a fast-paced environment.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and operate in varying temperatures.
