Role Summary:
The Sales Account Manager will drive growth across Ohio and neighboring states. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, you will develop and maintain relationships with key clients, deliver on sales goals, and grow market share. This is a high-impact role requiring strategic planning, relationship-building, and execution.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in the CPG space.
- Manage existing client relationships to ensure satisfaction and continued partnership.
- Develop data-driven sales strategies and meet/exceed targets.
- Prepare detailed sales reports showcasing quantifiable results and ROI.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and customer support teams.
- Maintain a rigorous travel schedule (70% initially, reducing to 50% post-establishment).
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in CPG direct sales with a proven record of success.
- Performance Metrics: Demonstrable quantifiable results (sales growth, market share increase, revenue targets met/exceeded).
- Networking: 500 LinkedIn contacts required to showcase professional connections.
- Confidence: Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive and assertive approach.
- Valid driver’s license; a company car is provided.
Compensation:
- Base Salary: $125,000 - $130,000 annually
- Bonus Structure: Competitive performance-based bonuses
