Storm2 has partnered with a fast-growing B2B payments company that is transforming how small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) manage their financial operations. Backed by top-tier investors, this company is expanding its partnerships team to strengthen relationships across merchant acquirers, e-commerce, and financial institutions.
They are now seeking a Director of Partnerships to drive strategic alliances, close high-impact deals, and scale the company’s presence in key markets. This is an individual contributor role with a clear path to building and leading a team as the business continues its rapid growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute partnership strategies to expand market influence in payments, merchant acquiring, and e-commerce.
- Identify, structure, and close new partnerships that drive revenue and business growth.
- Build and maintain trust-based relationships with key partners, aligning on growth strategies.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and solutions consulting teams to integrate and enhance partner solutions.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and leverage insights to inform business development strategies.
- Operate as an individual contributor initially, with the opportunity to scale and lead a team over time.
Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in the payments industry, with expertise in merchant acquiring, e-commerce, and banking partnerships.
- Proven track record of structuring and closing complex partnership deals.
- Strong consultative sales and business development skills, with the ability to engage across multiple functions.
- Excellent commercial and product acumen, with an ability to drive revenue and profitability.
- Comfortable in a high-growth, fast-paced environment, taking ownership of key initiatives.
