Role 👜

The Controller will play a key role in leading the accounting function, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, and preparing accurate financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders. Reporting directly to the Chief Accounting Officer, the ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, a strategic mindset, and the ability to thrive in a high-growth environment.

Responsibilities 📃

• Lead all accounting operations, including monthly closings, accounts payable, expense reporting, and payroll, ensuring GAAP compliance.

• Develop internal financial reporting packages and reconciliations for monthly reporting and control compliance.

• Oversee compliance with technical accounting guidance, including revenue recognition, leases, internally developed software, and stock-based compensation.

• Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and other regulations.

• Support the preparation of investor and board reports, collaborating with strategic finance teams.

• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Qualifications 📈

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA required.

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.

• Experience in a startup or high-growth company is a plus.

• Expertise in financial reporting systems (e.g., NetSuite or similar ERP systems), Excel, and Google Suite.

• Extensive knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
