The company is seeking a seasoned, visionary Embedded Systems Engineering leader, with a particular focus on Power Electronics, Power Management, and Digital Controls. This is a hands-on, leadership-intensive role best suited for an individual with deep technical expertise and a passion for developing high-performance engineering teams.
⚡ Position Summary:
The successful candidate will manage a high-caliber team of embedded systems engineers, guiding the development of complex firmware and embedded software for advanced high-voltage power supplies.
⚡ Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture, development, testing, and documentation of embedded firmware and software across a diverse suite of products and platforms.
- Drive innovation and excellence in the development of firmware for high voltage power systems using languages such as C, Verilog, VHDL, Assembly, C#, and Java.
- Guide development based on both RTOS and bare-metal firmware environments.
- Oversee revision control, release management, and continuous enhancement of embedded platforms and toolchains.
- Integrate emerging technologies into future product strategies.
- Inspire and lead a growing team of embedded systems engineers with a focus on mentorship, technical excellence, and performance development.
- Partner across global engineering, quality, operations, and sales teams to support new product development and customer-driven solutions.
⚡ Experience/Qualifications:
- >10 years of technical experience in power & embedded systems, with 7 years of leadership experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Deep understanding of analog and digital control principles and high-voltage systems.
- Proven ability to lead high-performing engineering teams.
- Familiarity with lean engineering principles, regulatory compliance, and lifecycle management in a manufacturing setting.
- Strategic mindset with hands-on engineering acumen.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (~10%).
