This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Director of Finance & M&A to lead the financial strategy and M&A activities for a leading company in the renewable energy sector. The company us a utility-scale renewable energy developer, owner, and operator specializing in battery storage solutions.

As the Director of Finance & M&A, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments. You will oversee financial modeling, due diligence, and valuation efforts for new projects, working closely with senior leadership to ensure alignment with the company’s long-term goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial modeling, due diligence, and valuation efforts for M&A transactions within renewable energy.
• Manage the financial structuring and capital raising activities for large-scale projects.
• Develop and present strategic financial recommendations to the executive team and stakeholders.
• Oversee the integration of acquired companies and assets, ensuring smooth operational and financial alignment.
• Collaborate with external investors, lenders, and legal teams to structure and negotiate deals.
• Drive financial performance across project portfolios, ensuring maximum return on investment.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to a growing finance team.

Qualifications:

• 8 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in M&A or project finance
• Extensive experience within the Renewable Energy Industry - preferably within Battery Storage
• Strong background in financial modeling, due diligence, and valuation techniques.
• Proven experience leading M&A transactions, including negotiating and structuring deals.
• Deep knowledge of the renewable energy market and financing structures.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
