Job Summary
.The ideal candidate will be responsible for engaging with the community through door-to-door outreach, promoting our initiatives, and gathering valuable feedback. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with diverse individuals. As a Canvasser, you will play a vital role in our fundraising efforts and community engagement strategies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct door-to-door canvassing to promote our organization’s mission and initiatives.
• Engage with community members, providing information and answering questions.
• Collect data and feedback from residents to inform future outreach efforts.
• Collaborate with team members to strategize effective canvassing techniques.
• Negotiate terms and encourage support for various campaigns or fundraising efforts.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and report findings to supervisors.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance canvassing skills and knowledge of the organization’s goals.

Skills

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information.
• Ability to negotiate and persuade individuals in a friendly manner.
• Experience in customer service or sales is highly desirable.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance outreach efforts.
• Familiarity with fundraising techniques and electioneering is a plus.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work well within a team environment.
• Supervising experience is beneficial for those looking to take on leadership roles in the future.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
