A Brief Overview
Responsible for professionally interacting with staff members, physicians and patients in coordinating logistics for performance improvement projects. Coordinator must have the ability to make independent decisions for work prioritization and the ability to handle multiple tasks, working as part of the PEX team. The Support Coordinator would be a resource to our departments for follow up on improvements, monitoring measures of success, logistical planning. This would also be a position that would prepare them to be specialists and senior specialists. Supports the PEX Division by coordinating various clinical data collection initiatives for performance improvement initiatives. Meets independently, or in collaboration with PEX specialist/senior specialist with Department directors, managers, and front-line staff on an ongoing basis to implement or revise project plans. Provides and presents performance improvement data analysis which is used to modify policies or procedures, as necessary. Partners with other staff members to improve processes that impact the efficiency, delivery and safety of care to patients. Provides a specific channel through which team members can seek solutions to problems, concerns, and unmet needs related to project work.
Education Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED Required
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Experience Qualifications
- 2 years Administrative support or business management experience. Required

What you will do
- Manage and update Administrative Huddle board daily. Provide high quality customer service when collaborating with Executives, Physicians, Employees and Patrons of SVH.
- Class coordination for Lean Training Curriculum. Manage deadlines, logistics and catering support across the team for Events and Trainings. Catering management for Events including pick-up, set-up and tear down duties.
- Maintain expense tracking and procurement items. Organizing third-party Vendors to deliver or provide elements that can’t be produced in-house.
- Office coordination; focus on Calendar management, Event Room and Office Area. Planning and executing multiple tasks and plans simultaneously.
- Data support to collect, record and analyze project or organizational metrics, gauge impact and for monitoring results. Gather data for reports, discussions and presentations.
- Assist in managing action plans, post event follow-up sessions and coordinate team members to keep project on track.
