Job Overview:
As a Business Development Manager, you will be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities, cultivating lasting relationships with clients, and driving the company’s expansion into new markets. This role requires a proactive approach, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service to our clients. The ideal candidate is experienced in business development, with a focus on securing new clients and forging strategic partnerships.

Required Qualifications:
- Education:
- Minimum - high school diploma. Equivalent experience may be considered.
- Experience:
- Experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within environmental services, stormwater management, or a related field but not required.
- Proven track record of identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and meeting sales targets.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of establishing and maintaining professional relationships at all levels.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, competitor activity, and identify growth opportunities.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to close deals.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in stormwater management, environmental services, or the construction industry.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to stormwater management and environmental compliance.
Working Conditions:
- Travel to client sites for inspections, meetings, and relationship building.
- Occasional participation in industry events, conferences, or workshops.
