Job Overview:

As a Business Development Manager, you will be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities, cultivating lasting relationships with clients, and driving the company’s expansion into new markets. This role requires a proactive approach, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service to our clients. The ideal candidate is experienced in business development, with a focus on securing new clients and forging strategic partnerships.

  • Proposal and Relationship Management
  • Contract and Documentation Management
  • Collaboration and Reporting

Required Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Minimum - high school diploma. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Experience:
  • Experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within environmental services, stormwater management, or a related field but not required.
  • Proven track record of identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and meeting sales targets.
  • Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of establishing and maintaining professional relationships at all levels.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, competitor activity, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to close deals.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in stormwater management, environmental services, or the construction industry.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to stormwater management and environmental compliance.

Working Conditions:

  • Travel to client sites for inspections, meetings, and relationship building.
  • Occasional participation in industry events, conferences, or workshops.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
