What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Painter position at Storopack, Inc.?
Storopack is conducting a search for a Machine Refinishing Technician to work at the Cincinnati Service Center. This positions reports directly to the Service Center Production Manager.
This position is responsible for the disassembly of machines/equipment and prepare and prep for painting, application of paint, and prepare the machine for assembly, in accordance with Service Center quality standards.
Normal work hours are Monday – Friday, 6 am – 2:30pm.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Disassembly and preparation of equipment including sanding, dent removal, welding, and fabrication
2. Proper mixing of paint and chemicals
3. Proper cleaning and maintenance of tools and equipment
4. Assist other team members as workload and priorities shift
5. Wear a respirator in adherence to OSHA and all safety standards, promote a safe workplace
6. Maintain a clean work area in accordance with 5S
7. Assist with crating of machines when needed
Qualifications: (Education, Experience, Job Competency):
- High School diploma. Additional trade school or vocational training a plus
- Painting experience using spray guns/booths. Auto body or related experience a plus
- Welding experience, training, and certification
- Mechanical experience in assembly and disassembly required
