Title: Appliance Warehouse Supervisor
Reports to: Director of Operations - Appliances
Summary:
Portland, TN
The Appliance Warehouse Supervisor oversees appliance operations (LG) at our Portland, TN location, ensuring efficient inventory management, logistics coordination, workplace safety, and team leadership to enhance warehouse performance and customer satisfaction. This role also manages the scheduling and coordination of daily appliance installations, resolves customer concerns, ensures installers receive proper training, and maintains necessary parts and tools for optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily appliance warehouse operations, including receiving daily shipments, loading outgoing orders, and performing regular cycle counts.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through monthly cycle counts and process improvements to address discrepancies.
- Develop and implement procedures to enhance productivity and safety.
- Lead, train, and motivate appliance warehouse staff to achieve performance goals.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and all health and safety standards.
- Maintain equipment functionality and adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with LX Pantos/LG on installation needs, new neighborhood walks, and certified training.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient appliance warehouse environment.
- Analyze performance metrics and implement improvements.
- Address damaged goods, inventory discrepancies, and customer returns effectively.
Supervisory Responsibilities, The Appliance Warehouse Supervisor oversees the following roles:
- 2 to 3 Warehouse Associates
- 4 to 10 Appliance Installers
Success Metrics:
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse that meets all safety requirements, ensuring the dock is broom-swept and ready for the next shift.
- Achieve 95% or higher annual inventory accuracy on monthly cycle counts.
- Exceed OSHA safety standards through regular inspections, safety walks, and team training.
- Actively support company-wide safety initiatives as a key safety committee member.
- Conduct regular site visits and provide organization feedback meetings with team members.
