What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Trainer position at Storr Office Environments?
The Corporate Trainer is responsible for managing all logistical and administrative work needed to ensure instructor-led and online training programs run successfully for the Company. The incumbent will be involved in finding and/or creating materials, working with subject matter experts and facilitators to meet the Company's training objectives. The Corporate Trainer partners closely with the managers within the organization to field incoming training requests, determine the organizational needs by position, coordinate the scheduling, registration and tracking of courses by team member, and provide organization and support for the Company.
Responsibilities:
- Main responsibilities to include, but not limited to: scheduling, coordinating, maintaining job position curriculum, tracking metrics and serving as the Company onsite representative.
- Responsible for a variety of administrative and clerical duties necessary to manage the development activities and career pathing goals of our Team Members.
- Plan and schedule meetings and appointments, conduct research; and disseminate information of all training and development opportunities company wide.
- Develop and coordinate sales trainings relevant to our industry with the support of on-site subject matter experts.
- Develop, coordinate, and facilitate training courses relevant to core competencies across all departments within the company except for Operations.
- Ability to facilitate training sessions for leaders within the organization on a variety of leadership behaviors and development topics.
- Configure, manage, and document all reporting as needed including quarterly individual reports.
- Full lifecycle of the company's learning management system Talent LMS.
- Maintain class invitations and class lists.
- Consolidate and summarize course database by job position and title and track for annual compliance.
- Following each training maintain post course compliance and maintain paperwork including creating certification cards, forwarding rosters back to HR and provide any necessary follow up.
- Responsible for instructor setup of the room, passing out materials, and ensuring all necessary support is provided pre, during and post event.
- Manage communication for all training activities.
- Maintain training budgets for team members, departments, or divisions.
- Support vendors during training events
- Coordinate and Manage the Team Member onboarding process for day one and up to first 90-days in collaboration with the department leader.
Desired Skill Set & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred; three to five year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and corporate setting experience.
- Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands.
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team on a broad variety of projects with a high sense of urgency.
- Superior communication skills (verbal and written) with proactive approach
- Metrics-oriented, analytical thinker who is able to analyze, interpret, present and act upon data.
- Strong administrative skills, problem solving and the ability to handle multiple assignments at the same time.
- Working knowledge of MS Office suite of software applications to include: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with different levels within the organization.
- Proven reliability, trustworthiness, flexibility and high ethical of standards.
- Challenging yourself and our team members to achieve the company goals and visions.
- Strong business acumen, professional presence, and critical/ creative problem-solving skills.
- Prior experience working in a LMS system, Talent LMS experience a plus.
- Prior sales training experience and leadership training experience is a plus.
