Job Responsibilities :
- Set a leading example by exemplifying outstanding service, dedication, pace, positivity, and energy, serving as the primary support for Retail Associates.
- Uphold and promote the Companys mission and culture, acting as a crucial ally for the General Manager (GM) and Assistant General Manager (AGM) in fostering store culture.
- Empower the team by mentoring, motivating, and providing inspiration through effective training and coaching.
- Enhance staff competence by assessing, updating, and applying training materials and by leading training sessions.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring exceptional customer service, effective staff management, efficient customer and visitor handling, rigorous inventory management, accurate cash operations, state compliance, and strict safety / security measures. Ensure the team's adherence to these policies and procedures.
- Conduct daily inventory audits, record daily and monthly sales by category, and guarantee data accuracy.
- Oversee accurate cash handling in both front-end and back-end operations.
- Offer guidance to customers and employees regarding cannabis product selection, effects, potency, dosage, consumption methods, and administration.
- Address employee or customer concerns and complaints with tact and diplomacy.
- Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of cannabis, including its forms, chemical composition, effects, dosage guidelines, consumption methods, and quality indicators.
- Consistently present a professional demeanor in behavior, speech, and appearance.
- Comply with all city and state regulations.
- Accomplish daily and weekly tasks as directed by the GM and / or AGM.
- Ensure the store is always tidy, organized, and clean.
- Boost customer attraction by upholding the store's visual standards, adhering to display recommendations, organizing display elements, and showcasing merchandise both in display cases and on the sales floor.
- Resolve issues related to the store's point-of-sale system, coupons, and various customer concerns with diplomacy and efficiency.
- Assist in employee-focused initiatives and team-building efforts.
- Offer support for various events and specials, both during and outside regular hours.
- Report concerns or complaints related to products immediately to the District Manager, Inventory Manager, and Retail Operations.
- Execute special projects and tasks as directed by upper management, which might be referred to as "Departments of Responsibility" or "DORs." These can encompass areas such as Sales & Service, Outreach, Operations, Inventory, Visual, or any other sector designated by management.
