Director of Outpatient Clinics & Surgical Services
- Provides overall leadership and direction in areas of responsibility.
- Works independently with limited direction from the Chief Nursing Officer.
- Directs nursing practice within areas of responsibility.
- Provides versatile support by stepping into any clinical staff role as needed, ensuring seamless department operations, continuity of care, and adherence to all safety protocols.
- Advises the Chief Nursing Officer and/or Administration of potential or real problems in a timely manner and recommends solutions as appropriate.
- In conjunction with the Chief Nursing Officer and Chief Financial Officer, develops, implements, monitors, and adjusts the annual operating budget and capital expenditures for area of responsibility.
- Assists with contract management of Outpatient Clinic physicians and the credentialing of those physicians under the CEO.
- Analyzes and evaluates program services through an active, ongoing quality improvement program to improve the quality of the services provided.
- Collaborates with the Chief Nursing Officer to develop and coordinate new clinics.
This position has a Monday through Friday days schedule with no call or holidays.

Salary Range: Competitive and commensurate with experience
Sign on Bonus: $5,000
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing for Registered Nurses.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or program started within 6 months of start date.
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of Iowa.
- Previous supervisory experience in a hospital setting or demonstrated leadership and management ability.
- Prior operating room experience required.
- Knowledge of the nursing practice act and standards of care.
- BLS certification within 30 days of start date.
- ACLS and PALS Provider Certifications within specified period after start date.
- Proficient ability to use computer.
- Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
