Park Ranger Aide

One position is available for the summer of 2025.   The position offers opportunities in park patrol, rule enforcement, interaction with park visitors, and general park maintenance and operations.  The position will start May 19, 2025, and end approximately September 6, 2025.  Accommodations may be made for school schedules.  

The Park Ranger Aide will patrol parks, visit with park users, enforce rules, and assist with other various park projects and duties as required throughout the season.    

Hours may vary from 24-40 hours per week.  The standard work week is a few weekdays and weekend days. Work hours will typically be afternoon and evening.  Weekends, holidays, and evening work are required.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, have a current, valid driver's license, and be able to routinely lift 50 pounds.  College-level training in a natural resource field or law enforcement is preferred.

The selected candidate will undergo post-offer, pre-employment background check, and drug screening.

Mandatory safety training is scheduled for Monday, May 19, 2025.
