What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Receptionist position at Storybook Smiles?
Hi there! Do you want to join a team of hard-working, goal-driven team members? We're bursting at the seams with all of our happy families at Storybook Smiles and need more help! Storybook Smiles started about 5 years ago with just Dr. Patrick and 2 team members. We've now grown to 19 team members and 3 doctors to help care for our awesome pediatric patients. We're looking for another Patient Scheduling Coordinator to start ASAP. The ideal candidate would have a servant's heart, friendly personality and extraordinary attention to detail. Wages negotiable and to be determined by skill level.

Responsibilities
- Greeting patients with a smile
- Scheduling new patients
- Accepting payments
- Scheduling follow up visits
- Insurance knowledge (benefit verification and insurance breakdowns of both private and state health insurance plans) is a huge plus, but not mandatory
- Treatment presentation experience is helpful as well, but not the main responsibility of the position
Qualifications (desired but not required)
- Experience working in the front office in a dental setting
- High attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills
- Friendly, personable attitude that enjoys working with children
