We're looking for an experienced Events & Hospitality Director to create world-class events and unforgettable experiences for our coaching community and top customers. In this role, you'll design and execute high-quality events that foster connection and deliver maximum value to our certified coaches. You'll also oversee key gatherings, including our CEO’s mastermind and select staff events.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at bringing people together, and is passionate about delivering seamless, memorable experiences. Success in this role requires meticulous attention to detail, a deep love for hospitality, and the ability to anticipate every need before it arises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create unforgettable events that elevate the coach experience, strengthen community, and make coaches excited to stay involved year after year
  • Plan elite masterminds and exclusive gatherings for our highest-tier customers, delivering world-class value
  • Infuse Unreasonable Hospitality into every detail, crafting personalized, high-touch experiences that leave a lasting impact
  • Own the entire event lifecycle—from venue selection to final execution—ensuring every touchpoint before, during, and after the event is thoughtfully planned
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and vendors to keep events on track, on brand, and on budget
  • Oversee all logistics, including registration, travel, catering, AV setup, and the on-site experience, to ensure everything runs smoothly
  • Develop checklists, run-of-show documents, and contingency plans to ensure smooth execution
  • Lead event-related team meetings, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and clear on responsibilities
  • Collaborate with marketing, content, and operations teams to coordinate event promotions, materials, and communications
  • Gather feedback from attendees to continuously improve and refine future events
  • Anticipate challenges before they happen, solving problems in real time so attendees and speakers can enjoy a seamless experience

Qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience in event planning, hospitality, or experience design, preferably in a customer-facing or high-touch environment
  • A proven track record of executing exceptional events, from intimate masterminds to large-scale community gatherings and conferences
  • Strong understanding of event logistics, operations, and high-end customer experience
  • Highly detail-oriented, with the ability to anticipate needs and solve problems before they arise
  • Strong project management skills, with experience juggling multiple events and competing priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to make people feel welcome and valued
  • Experience working with vendors, venues, AV teams, and production crews
  • A deep appreciation for hospitality, customer experience, and creating truly special moments
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment with last-minute changes and high expectations

Key Competencies:

  • Hospitality-Obsessed: Committed to making every attendee feel seen, valued, and well taken care of. Bonus points if you’ve read Unreasonable Hospitality!
  • Master of Details: Nothing slips through the cracks—you anticipate every need before it arises
  • Calm Under Pressure: Able to handle last-minute changes and high-profile events with grace and confidence
  • Creative Experience Designer: Always thinking of new ways to elevate events and create magical moments
  • Proactive Problem-Solver: Takes ownership and ensures every event runs smoothly from start to finish
