TITLE: The Salt Company Resident
REPORTS TO: Director of The Salt Company
DEPARTMENT: The Salt Company
COMPENSATION: Fundraising support is required. Resources & support for this are provided.
TERM: July 1, 2025 - May 31, 2027
SUMMARY:
Commit to learning, growing, and serving as a staff member of The Salt Company college ministry within Storyline Church. Specifically, the work of a resident is to serve missionally towards the campuses surrounding Storyline Church and to grow in ministry capacity and competency as you discern future opportunities.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Commit to theological education through participating in the seminary track of the Storyline Institute.
- Learn, engage with, and help shape personal theology weekly
- Participate as a faithful student by turning in assignments on time with work completed to the best of their ability
Serve as a full participant on The Salt Company staff
- Lead one to two student leader discipleship groups (Weekly meeting with 3-5 student leaders of the same gender discipling them)
- Meet with 5-7 students each week (mainly freshmen)
- Participate in the vision and execution of mission trip to campus and gospel follow-up efforts
- Lead and execute a specific ministry area of The Salt Company
- Meet regularly with a Salt Company staffer for discipleship and development
- Attend and participate in Salt Company staff meetings
- Attend all Salt Network events (The Salt Company Conference, Salt Leadership Summit, and potentially global retreat)
Serve as a staff member of Storyline Church
- Attend all meetings required by a staff member
- Serve in staff responsibilities on Sundays and at special events
- Other duties as requested by The Salt Company Director or Storyline Church staff
RELATIONSHIP WITH THE STORYLINE TEAM:
- I report to: Director of the Salt Company
- I work with: The Salt Company Team
- I lead: Salt Company Students & Volunteers
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Member of Storyline Church
- A daily pursuit of Christian Maturity
- Agree with & live in alignment with Storyline Statement of Faith
- Commit to two years of training, education, and ministry participation at Storyline Church
- Proven ability to fundraise salary, hitting set benchmarks for employment to commence
- Proficiency in GSuite, Microsoft Office, and Planning Center
