Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and nap time to ensure safety and well-being.
- Foster positive relationships with children by providing support and encouragement.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among children.
- Conduct regular assessments of children's development and adjust activities accordingly.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive learning environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a daycare setting or as a nanny, with a focus on early childhood education.
- Knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies.
- Experience working with children with special needs is a plus.
- Ability to provide infant care as needed.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with parents and staff.
- A degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education or related field is highly desirable.
