Lead Line Cook

Storyville is seeking an experienced, bilingual, and highly motivated Lead Line Cook to join our kitchen team. This position requires a self-reliant, skilled, and proactive individual who can step in and contribute immediately. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in professional kitchens, the ability to work efficiently under pressure, and a passion for delivering high-quality food.

• Independently execute and oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and consistency.
• Prepare, cook, and present dishes with precision and attention to detail.
• Maintain kitchen organization, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste.
• Train and support kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment, demonstrating problem-solving skills and initiative.
• Ensure all food preparation meets quality standards and adheres to restaurant recipes.

• Proven experience as a Line Cook, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and take charge without constant supervision.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle high-volume service while maintaining consistency and efficiency.
• Culinary degree or relevant certifications are a plus but not required.
• Must be available to start immediately.
