Job Title: Digital Asset Management Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Digital Asset Management Manager to lead the management and maintenance of our DAM system. The successful candidate will have a strong background in metadata standards, taxonomy, and digital archiving best practices. They will be responsible for developing and enforcing metadata and taxonomy standards for easy searchability and retrieval. Additionally, they will organize and tag digital assets using industry best practices for classification and accessibility.
The role will involve conducting regular audits of the DAM system to maintain asset accuracy and consistency. The manager will also build brand portals, campaigns, and programs to enhance visibility into marketing asset offerings. Furthermore, they will support the implementation and management of internal and external teams on workflow and processes through launch. Providing training and support to internal teams on effective DAM system usage will also be a key responsibility.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of copyright, digital rights management (DRM), and content governance policies. They will also possess excellent communication and training skills for guiding users on DAM best practices. A bachelor's degree in Library Science, Information Management, Digital Media, Marketing or a related field is required. Digital Asset Management certifications are preferred, as is experience with AI-driven asset tagging and automation tools.
