What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Property Manager position at Stott Property Management, LLC?
Stott Property Management, LLC is seeking a full-time property manager with bookkeeping experience. The successful candidate will spend half the day paying bills and making deposits and the remainder of the day checking in new tenants, checking out departing tenants, showing vacant property, conducting routine visual inspections, and communicating the results with owners and tenants. A successful candidate will recognize the value of following checklists and provide the attention to detail demanded by clients and customers. The ideal candidate will own or have a desire to own investment real estate. A successful property manager must balance three competing interests:
1) Acknowledge the client’s cash flow constraints.
2) Required repairs to maintain a rental property that provides a healthy and desireable living environment.
3) The tenants’ desire to live in a nice home.
Qualifications: Must have an active real estate license.
Required Skills:
Familiarity with bookkeeping software (Appfolio or Quickbooks)
Attention to detail
Willingness to utilize checklists
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with a smart phone and computers
Proficiency with e-mail & database entry
Basic grasp of simple home repairs
Willingness to do what it takes to serve clients and customers
Preferred Skills:
Proficiency with property management software
Knowledge of residential lease contracts and related forms
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
