Stotz Equipment is a leading John Deere dealer with 25 locations in 8 Western states, specializing in application equipment, parts, and service. We are looking for a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to support our sales and service teams while providing top-tier customer support. This role is critical in ensuring smooth equipment operation, training customers, and driving additional revenue through service and support offerings. This position is based out of our Burley location but includes support for our North, Central, and Southern regions.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Support
- Assist all sales personnel in equipment calibration, startup, and customer training, ensuring smooth operation and customer satisfaction.
- Promote and sell training and support packages to customers to enhance equipment performance.
- Sell winter maintenance services to customers to support shop operations during the slow season.
- Promote and sell PUK (Precision Upgrade Kits) to application customers to enhance equipment capabilities.
Parts & Inventory Management
- Advise location parts departments on the necessary inventory to support application equipment, including third-party ordering processes and RDSL (Remote Dealer Stocking Locations).
- Train parts associates on the basics of application equipment functionality to improve efficiency in locating parts and reduce customer downtime.
Technical Support & Training
- Provide hands-on, in-depth training for Precision Ag teams, service teams, and parts department staff on application equipment.
- Serve as a technical support resource, available to assist teams with troubleshooting and best practices.
- Deliver 24/7 customer support for application equipment, including calibration, operation, and troubleshooting as billable time.
Equipment Readiness & Field Support

Work with sales and service teams to ensure equipment is fully operational before leaving locations, including:
- Proper nozzle setup
- AMS activation
- Overall operational functionality
- Train employees involved in safety and certification procedures for handling application equipment.
- Must be able to travel for extended periods during spraying season to any of our 25 locations, based on customer and employee training needs.
- Must be able to pass a background/drug test
- Must have a clean driving record
- Strong knowledge of agricultural application equipment and its operation.
- Experience in customer service, sales, or technical support in the ag industry.
- Ability to train and educate customers and internal teams.
- Understanding of parts inventory management and ordering processes.
- Willingness to provide on-call support as needed.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Precision Ag technology and equipment calibration.
