Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Parts Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of agricultural equipment parts and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. This role involves assisting customers in identifying and sourcing the correct parts, managing inventory, and ensuring efficient parts department operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers (both in-person and over the phone) with identifying and purchasing the correct parts
- Research and locate parts using catalogs, databases, and manufacturer resources
- Process orders, returns, and warranties accurately and efficiently
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock management
- Work closely with service technicians to ensure timely availability of parts
- Develop strong relationships with customers and vendors
- Maintain a clean and organized parts department
- Stay up to date with product knowledge and industry trends
Qualifications
What it Takes
- Required 5 years experience in a parts department, preferably in agricultural, heavy equipment, or automotive industries
- Strong knowledge of agricultural machinery and equipment parts (tractors, combines, implements, etc.)
- Experience with parts inventory management systems and ordering processes
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Computer proficiency (experience with dealership management software is a plus)
- Ability to lift and carry heavy parts as needed
- Must have a clean driving record

Qualifications
What it Takes
- Current driver's license
- Have and maintain a clean driving record (no driving infractions within the last 3 years)
- High integrity
- Loyal team player
- Organized
- Can provide robust customer service to internal and external customers
- Good phone etiquette
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
- High energy and motivated
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to lift items weighing upwards of 75 lbs.
- The ability to work flexible hours must be able to be on Saturday rotation.
- Forklift certificate preferred
- Part and Service experience, automotive or heavy equipment knowledge
- Good computer research skills
- Basic data entry/keyboarding skills required
- Customer service focused and positive attitude
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a clean driving record
