Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for a Radiology Technologist to join our Cottage Grove Urgent Care team on a Part-Time basis.
Provides technical skills involving radiology and laboratory. Performs radiographs of various parts of the body to assist physician and/or physician assistant in the detection of foreign bodies and/or diagnosis of disease or injury. Supports the Urgent Care Team by rooming patients, obtaining vitals, identifying and communicating patient safety concerns. Performs CLIA waived Laboratory testing.
Essential Functions:
- Demonstrate competency with the Medical Imaging Equipment and in all radiology procedures
- Protect patients from radiation and mechanical hazards
- Prepare studies for interpretation by the Radiologist
- Knowledge of EHR and PACS systems
- Assists with data collection and report preparation for Medical Imaging Department
- Supports and assumes direct patient care responsibilities as needed
Position Requirements:
- Required: Associate’s Degree
- Required: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology
- Currently licensed by the Board of Licensing and Regulation in the State of Wisconsin as a Licensed Radiographer and in good standing. Registered by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists.
- Required Certification: Current BLS certification
- Computer Competency: Basic Computer Skills are expected for this position. Access email, reference internal websites, access electronic health records, and use online learning tools to remain current with continuing education requirements.
- Microsoft Office Suite Skills: Beginning Skills – Able to perform basic things such as opening a document, change font, save a document, write a letter.
Work Shift:
- Part-Time, .5 FTE
- 20 hours per week
- Scheduled Days: Variable
- Scheduled Shift: Variable
- 4, 8, or 12 hour days
- Every 3rd Weekend
