Responsibilities to include:
- Develop supply chain strategies that support and align with the company's multi-year strategy, performance objectives, and customer expectations.
- Maintain processes to ensure delivery of core supply chain metrics in terms of cost and service.
- Minimize company risk and maintain compliance in area of environment, health, and safety (EH&S).
- Initiate, coordinate, and prioritize sourcing and leverage opportunities utilizing cross-functional teams as needed at a global level.
- Resolve enterprise-wide procurement, materials management and supply chain management issues.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and compliance processes regarding procurement, materials, logistics, and supply chain policies and procedures.
- Assess requirements regarding goods, services, supplies, and equipment, and establish long-term and strategic planning objectives for their supply.
- Oversee supplier risk and supplier relationship programs, including the development and implementation of strategies to appropriately manage risk in the company's supply base.
- Establish standards and philosophies regarding supply chain management discipline (i.e.: competitive bidding processes, implementation of e-procurement strategies, logistics savings, and cost reduction programs).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, sciences or engineering. MBA or similar graduate degree is preferred
- CPIM or CPM certification
- Strong background in engineering principles relative to trailer structure.
- Knowledge of trailer specific materials is a plus. (Heavy vehicle system components, carbon and stainless steel, and flat rolled and extruded aluminum).
- Strong strategic leadership experience and capabilities with a "drive to action" mindset.
- Prior experience in a C-Suite or Executive Leadership role.
