What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director Fleet Sales - Refrigerated position at Stoughton Trailers?
Grow and develop refrigerated trailer sales assignments that consistently meets/exceeds sales and market share goals while also meeting profit goals. This includes, but is not limited to, improving market penetration (depth and breadth), adding/improving customers, contract negotiation, and representation of all STI Company's products.
* Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to (in cooperation with other departments) align the strengths of the organization with the market opportunities to maximize profit, ROI, and value for stakeholders in the Company. This includes, but is not limited to, recommendation of product lines to respond to the market. Follow in-house sales administrative personnel and activities. The activities include, but are not limited to, quote preparation, releases and shipments, sales promotions and advertising, external communications to dealers, reps.
* Participate directly in sales (and sales support) calls to internal and external customers, interact with customers, and interact interdepartmentally to promote Company sales and marketing efforts and to strive to maximize value added to the customer.
* Coordinate with Sales Administration and Engineering to create detailed product specifications and ensure accurate quoting inputs.
* Closely monitor production schedules to ensure customer orders are being fulfilled as expected and communicated in a timely manner. Assist Sales Administration to ensure orders are documented accurately and closely monitor invoicing and receivables.
* Work closely with quality, manufacturing, and engineering to resolve customer issues and conflicts and ensure on-going customer satisfaction.
* Follows Quality Business Management System within Sales & Marketing Procedures.
* Perform all assigned tasks in a safe, efficient, timely, and accurate and highly productive manner according to company policy.
* Contribute to the team effort to produce a quality product.
* Attend scheduled work hours on a regular and timely basis. Maintain good attendance.
* Comply with all company policies and procedures.
* Briefing management on sales conditions.
* Maintain historical as well as current data to establish trends in Stoughton sales to be used in making future sales & marketing decisions.
* Maintain CRM Database

* Commercial Vehicle Industry Knowledge and Trailer Sales Experience required.

Qualifications
* Education: Minimum bachelor's degree in business or related field. MBA a plus.
* Minimum 5 years in commercial vehicle experience required.
* Minimum 2 years of demonstrated sales and/or service in commercial vehicle industry a plus.
* Licenses/Certifications: None.
