We are looking for a skilled Production Line Assembler to join our team at Stoughton Trailers. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling trailers according to blueprints and specifications, utilizing a variety of tools and equipment.
As a Production Line Assembler, you will perform tasks such as preparing metal surfaces, assembling components, and fastening parts together using bolts, screws, or rivets. You will also be responsible for accurate measurement and layout, ensuring that all assemblies meet precise specifications.
To be successful in this role, you must have strong technical skills, including the ability to read and understand blueprints and company documents. You should also have basic math skills, especially with fractions, and familiarity with computerized automated equipment.
The ideal candidate will have entry-level experience in assembly or a similar field, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations. You will work collaboratively as part of a team environment, communicating effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth production processes.
In addition to your technical skills, you must be physically able to stand, walk, reach, grasp, lift, bend, and perform various physical tasks outlined in the job requirements.
