What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Technician position at Stoughton?
What you’ll do: Assist the Facility Operations Team by performing repairs and preventative maintenance tasks with an emphasis to facility-related mechanical/plumbing systems and associated equipment.
Role Responsibilities:
- Performs maintenance and repairs on interior and exterior of facilities to include, but not limited to electrical, plumbing, building/ facility maintenance, and HVAC
- Perform monthly preventive maintenance tasks and reactive work orders as assigned
- Day to Day troubleshooting building issues, including: climate control, odors, spills, damage, emergencies and repair
- Perform all work assigned daily as it relates to a moderate knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, locks, appliances, drywall, paint, and all other areas as assigned.
- Ability to travel to each Wisconsin plant (Stoughton, Evansville, and Brodhead) utilizing company vehicles.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements to Succeed:
- Eagerness to learn!
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Be able to stand up to 10 hours a day
- Perform all assigned tasks in a safe, efficient, accurate and productive manner
- Contribute to the team effort and communicate with your team.
- HVAC, Electrical, & Plumbing experience is a plus!

- High school diploma required
- Associate degree/vocational schooling in related field preferred
- Basic computer skills such as emails, internet navigation, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Some relevant background is a plus!
