Description
Summary Keeps premises of office building, apartment house, and other community buildings in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Maintenance of the sprinkler system, assuring that the grounds are adequately watered with an emphasis on water conservation.

Distribution of insecticides, fertilizers and herbicides as needed.

Re-seed and re-plant lawns as needed.
-
Mow, trim and weed lawns and flowerbeds on a regular basis as required.

Prune, trim and stake trees and shrubs as needed.

Early each morning walk the grounds, picking up refuse on lawns, flowerbeds and all other common areas.

Monitor all drainage connections and areas to make sure they are all clear and no standing or backed up water is present.

Paint curbs as needed, including handicap, speed bumps, safety required markings including raised sidewalks ½ inch or more.

Maintain all laundry rooms, assuring that washers and dryers are clean and laundry room floors are clean including picking up trash and empting any trash bins.

Report to maintenance supervisor when washers and dryers are not working properly.

Assist maintenance as required.

Trash out vacant apartments including refrigerators.

Hang notices on door as directed by Supervisor or Property Manager

Report any theft, vandalism, trip hazards or resident complaints to manager

Maintains strict confidentiality of all Stout Management Company and resident matters.

Education and/or Experience
Knowledge equivalent to a high school diploma. Must have minimum of six months related experience and training in landscaping or gardening with knowledge and ability to formulate fertilizer and chemicals with experience performing safe applications per agricultural requirements or container directions.
