SUMMARY:
The Replenishment Manager works with our national retail customer systems to provide forecast, replenishment, and inventory management support on a specified business. This position is responsible for evaluating data, analyzing performance, identifying problems, developing recommendations, and implementing solutions to improve service, increase revenue and reduce costs for all the company’s portfolio. This role requires a solid understanding of customer replenishment procedures and supply chain topics. This position is the key interface between the company’s supply chain and customer and works proactively to manage the business.
General Job Description and Duties:
- Proactively monitor Walmart forecasts and inventory order flow to mitigate potential inventory issues and short shipments.
- Review internal pipeline and Walmart store inventory levels to ensure we consistently meet or exceed Walmart in stock expectations.
- Monitor total inventory pipeline to ensure adequate seasonal/event inventory levels.
- Analyze in-season performance and provide recommended actions to drive sales via Walmart system settings (demand forecast adjustments)
- Track, maintain, archive, and communicate internal reporting on key metrics, including on time/in full (OTIF), in stocks, inventory and forecast accuracy.
- Analyze data and make recommendations to resolve in stock concerns, excess inventory, and aged inventory.
- Review end to end supply chain details and make adjustment recommendations to Walmart or client as needed to improve OTIF compliance.
- Communicate with Walmart replenishment teams regarding daily operations to drive sales, including, but not limited to, the following: item/store level forecast recommendations, scripted orders, seasonal planning, launch planning, inventory strategies.
- Work in tandem with sales counterparts to proactively address inventory/supply opportunities that lead to established goals and metrics.
- Create, implement, and align forecasts for national retail customers.
- Warehousing and other functions to ensure excellent order fulfillment.
- Builds positive relationships with our customers and enhances the data to facilitate information sharing.
- Leads all customer facing communication, including supply risks, potential disruptions and continuous improvement projects and initiatives to support customer and customer needs.
- Monitors new item setup progress and potential issues for modular resets, provides tracking reports for both internal and external teams.
- Build and maintain relationships with replenishment manager and other key stakeholders by analyzing, supporting, and developing overall strategies to support customers needs.
EDUCATION & SKILLS:
- 4-year college degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience.
- High level of customer facing communication skills – clear, concise data summarization.
- Self-motivated and able to structure and prioritize work for maximum productivity.
- Strong ability in qualitative and quantitative analysis, interpreting data, and building a story.
- Competency in a broad range of computer skills – Word, Excel and presentation software.
- Ability to manage many details and tasks with a high level of accuracy.
- Skill in prioritizing workload and organizing information in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to establish timelines and meet deadlines.
- Ability to initiate, coordinate and move forward on planned activities in a team environment.
