What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sterile Processing Technician position at Stout?
Requirements:
- 8-10 years of permanent experience in a related field.
- MUST HAVE SOLID LEVEL I TRAUMA EXPERIENCE.
- Knowledge of AAMI (Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation) standards.
- Ability to complete 5 trays/hour.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
Work Responsibilities:
- Decontamination of medical instruments.
- Tray assembly, sterilization, and stocking of instrumentation and supplies.
- Ensure adherence to AAMI standards.
Shift Information:
- Weekly Hours: 40 hours.
- Available Shifts:
- Night: 11pm-7:30am
- Evening: 3pm-11:30pm
- Rotating: 7am-3:30pm, 3pm-11:30pm
- Rotating weekends and overtime as needed.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $40.00 - $42.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
