Our core activity is the development and manufacturing of top-quality racking systems, mobile basis, and automated shuttles. Our customers benefit from much better utilization of their warehouses (up to 70% more pallet storage than traditional rack!), maximized vertical space, improved accuracy in pallet selection, and minimizing labor costs and product damage.
Over the span of more than 40 years, we’ve grown into a company with 9 manufacturing facilities, 19 commercial offices, and the know-how of around 2000 employees serving customers in 40 countries.

Job Description
The Draftsman improves the efficiency and quality of draft work through training and development of CAD tools and drafting standards, in accordance with the group QHSE standards.
He produces drawings in an efficient and qualitative manner to demonstrate the technical feasibility of an operation or to support the design of equipment, in accordance with the group QHSE standards within the proposed timeframe.
As a Draftsman racking, you…
- Develop detailed structural drawings for rack systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
- Create preliminary concept drawings to support engineering design and client proposals.
- Generate assembly drawings to guide manufacturing and installation teams.
- Create production-ready drawings for special parts, including laser-cut, bent, and machined components.
- Ensure all drawings include accurate dimensions, tolerances, and material specifications.
- Manage and organize CAD files for easy access and revisions.
- Review drawings to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with project requirements.
- Revise drawings based on feedback from engineers, production teams, and clients.
- Work closely with structural engineers, project engineers, and sales engineers.
Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, … engineering is required
- Multiple years of experience with drafting of mechanical equipment design of steel structures, large storage systems (such as pallet racking and/or pallet shuttles) or other applicable material handling solutions
- Experience with AutoCAD 2D and 3D or similar is required
- Fluent in English
- Able and willing to work in our Romeoville, IL office
- For onboarding and training, travel to our headquarters in Belgium (usually no more than 3 weeks at a time). Depending on training needs, during the first year, there could be 2-3 of such trips.
- We work closely with our European colleagues. The morning hours are the most important so we can connect with them while our business hours overlap across time zones. If you love starting your workday mid-morning or later, you would hate it here. Most people start their workday at 8 am CST and some love to start even earlier so they can wrap up earlier at the end of the day.
