Position Overview

This role will support and assist the Marketing Department with developing, implementing, and overseeing strong direct-to-consumer strategies. The responsibilities will include promoting and monitoring the retail sale of hard cider, food, and merchandise sold online via e-commerce platforms and on-premise restaurant/bar. The primary focus of this position is to facilitate retail sales and create strong customer experiences, while promoting both Stowe Cider and Shakedown Street brands. We are looking for a creative, organized, and fun individual to be around.

Essential Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

Management of Direct-to-Consumer Stores (Vinoshipper, Squarespace, Toast & On-Premise):

  • Manage inventory and stock of merchandise on a monthly basis
  • Manage inventory and stock of shipping supplies on a monthly basis
  • Photograph & upload products for sale
  • List, monitor, and update merchandise inventory on Squarespace online store
  • List, monitor, and update hard cider inventory on VinoShipper online store
  • Audit Squarespace online storefront on a quarterly basis and update as needed
  • Monitor and update on-premise retail displays
  • Monitor all customer-facing promotional and retail space
  • Create marketing materials to drive customers to all E-Commerce channels
  • Collaborate with marketing team to promote via social media channels
  • Facilitate and manage online queries regarding orders, products, etc.

Subscription Club Management (Golden Apple Club)

  • Collaborate with Marketing team to plan & execute quarterly releases for our
  • subscription club (Golden Apple Club)
  • Ensure each release is organized, prepared, and successfully delivered to subscribers
  • Handle all correspondence with current and new subscription members
  • Monitor member registrations and fulfill/report welcome box shipments
  • Create marketing materials to promote subscription club, driving members and
  • customer acquisition
  • Create unique and creative content regarding our club (for both members and potential
  • members)
  • Plan and create gifts and freebie giveaways for club members
  • Organize and inventory all club materials and collaborate with Creative Team to facilitate
  • marketing ordering (i.e. printed materials, custom GAC glassware, member cards, etc.)
  • Create and update SOPs to reflect current Golden Apple Club processe

General:

  • Brainstorm and contribute to merch development and reporting
  • Maintain customer-facing event calendar across platforms (Squarespace, on-premise,
  • and local outlets)
  • Create promotional assets for social media reflecting event calendar
  • Maintain customer-facing promotional space
  • Assist in developing and following company procedures and guidelines for the marketing
  • department
  • Assist in photoshoots as requested
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of shared office space, merchandise inventory, and shipping station

Additional Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

  • Social Media & Design:
  • Assist in developing marketing and advertising materials using Adobe and Canva
  • Assist in creating on-brand content creation for both Stowe Cider and Shakedown Street
  • Suggest new ways to excite existing consumers and attract prospective customers via relevant posts and promotions.
  • Assist with Social Media Marketing for both Stowe Cider and Shakedown Street

Copywriting:

  • Assist in creating on-brand copy for the website, general marketing, sales, and taproom materials, as requested by the Marketing Coordinator
  • Proofreading marketing materials as requested

Technical Skills & Qualifications

  • Basic experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
  • Experience with E-Commerce platforms (or willingness to learn)
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Level 1 DLC Certified (will provide upon hire if not)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
