What are the responsibilities and job description for the Research Technician I position at Stowers Institute for Medical Research?
The Piotrowski lab is looking for a highly motivated, team-oriented technician to aid with research projects, as well as provide lab support. Research focuses on the cellular and molecular analysis of zebrafish sensory lateral line hair cell regeneration, as well as the function of immune cells in the regeneration process. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to present and actively participate in lab meetings and journal clubs.

Minimum Requirements:
- B.S. or B.A. degree in an appropriate field of science, which includes, but is not limited to, molecular biology, biochemistry, chemistry, neuroscience.
- Prior laboratory experience especially with molecular biology techniques
- Motivation and ability to learn new techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
