REQUIREMENTS :
High school diploma or equivalent. Three years or more previous management experience preferred. Facilities experience preferred. Knowledge of business and building codes preferred. Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills required. Must have a valid drivers' license. Must be able to pass a background check, physical exam, and drug screening.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Leads and manages the maintenance department team and coordinates all facility repairs for Stowers Machinery’s six locations throughout East Tennessee.
Serves as project manager for all facility expansions, new construction, and various improvement projects. Manages both internal facilities team members and external contractors to ensure projects are managed within budget and on time to produce the best quality, cost management, and efficiency for the company.
Consults with outside contractors, engineers, and architects to complete projects and optimize projects. Prepares and manages construction budgets and variations.
Ensures all local ordinances are followed and is proactively researching and adopting all new regulations and requirements for each location.
Partners with the Finance Department to develop both short-term and long-term Capital Expenditure plans that align with the company’s preventative maintenance plans.
Monitors all store locations for possible environmental concerns or violations on a regular schedule.
Reviews Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) for all store locations on an annual basis.
Documents any regulation violations and follows up to ensure they have been corrected.
Works with all departments to answer any environmental regulation questions quickly and accurately.
Inspects wash rack operations at each store location on a monthly basis to ensure they are kept clean, used, and maintained per manufacturer's recommendations, and comply with all regulations.
Visually inspects oil-water separators on a monthly basis to ensure they are functioning per the manufacturer's recommendations.
Inspects buildings and grounds to ensure they are kept to expected levels, and that any problems identified are repaired / corrected in a timely manner.
Oversees janitorial services used at all stores to ensure cleanliness is adequate and that prices are comparable.
Continues focus and progress in all areas of contamination control. Completes quarterly audits at each location.
Records Paint Booth Consumption report on a monthly basis.
