Position Scope:
The Marketing Intern supports the Stowers Machinery marketing team. Working with marketing leadership, they will collaborate with marketing, sales, rental, and product support teams to support the execution of targeted marketing strategies to drive revenue and active customer growth. Day to day, this role may draft reports, create content or copy, coordinate campaigns, and otherwise support all marketing strategies.
Knowledge And Skill Requirements
Possesses functional knowledge of marketing and advertising principles derived from relevant coursework.
Demonstrates intermediate proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
Exhibits strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Adopts a robust customer-oriented approach in all projects.
Displays excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Maintains strong organizational abilities and keen attention to detail.
Education Requirements
Current Junior, Senior, (or recent graduate), enrolled in a related bachelors or masters program such as marketing, journalism, advertising, or communications.
Essential Job Functions
Marketing Execution:
While this role does not include direct managerial responsibilities, the individual will:
1 year of marketing-related experience or internship.
Knowledge of social media platforms and analytics preferred.
Physical And Mental Requirements
Most work is conducted in a comfortable office environment but exposure to job site conditions may also occur. Personal protective equipment must be worn in areas as required. Although the work usually is not considered inherently dangerous, employees must be careful while performing onsite services.

Essential Job Functions
Marketing Execution:
- Create engaging content for print, social media, email, web, and other mediums in compliance with brand standards as defined by the Marketing & Brand Specialist.
- Manage advertising and promotion mail lists; update account records for returned mail to ensure customer account data integrity.
- Maintain a growing knowledge of email, social, and digital marketing best practices.
- Support campaign execution by creating marketing reports and analyzing company data.
- Assist with planning and execution of internal, customer facing, and trade association events.
- Attend and provide support at Stowers Machinery events, as needed.
- Receive, process, and track all marketing department invoices and payments.
- Monitor and administer general company inquiries, including responding to and/or forwarding to the correct internal Stowers Machinery contact.
- Complete all assigned trainings to build industry and professional knowledge.
While this role does not include direct managerial responsibilities, the individual will:

- Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and champion change initiatives.
1 year of marketing-related experience or internship.

Physical And Mental Requirements
- Sit and stand for long periods of time.
- Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other office machines.
- Clear and understandable speaking voice for the purposes of telephone communication.
- Ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds.
- Occasional stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Correctable vision and hearing.
- Ability to use a ladder or other equipment to work above ground level.
