Material Handler/Forklift Operator

```
Duties:

- Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to move materials within the buildings
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper stacking and securing of products
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and locate items for order picking
- Perform order picking using order pickers or reach trucks
- Conduct regular inspections of forklifts and other equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues to the supervisor
- Follow safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a forklift operator or in a similar role
- Valid forklift certification or license
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to perform basic maintenance on equipment
- Proficiency in operating different types of forklifts, including reach trucks and order pickers
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems for inventory tracking and order fulfillment
- Excellent materials handling skills, including the ability to stack, unstack, and organize products efficiently
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
