What are the responsibilities and job description for the Foreman position at STP?
We are looking for experienced Foremen/Superintendents for a Commerical Company in Portsmouth Nh. The Superintendent/Foreman directly manages the lead personnel/staff for each project they oversee.
Pay $35-40 an hour
Daily Responsibilities
- Communication with General Superintendent regarding job progress, specific needs regarding manpower and equipment.
- Contact with job site crews to ensure projects are on time and on budget.
- Maintains safe working environment by identifying workplace hazards and conducts daily tailgate safety meetings.
- Maintains daily record keeping including daily logs, schedules, and timecards.
- Provides timely and accurate documentation for reporting safety issues, equipment damage and workplace injuries.
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Being able to assist with ongoing project and provide ongoing assistance throughout the project.
Requirements
- OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 required
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret policies, reports, construction plans, construction specifications, and legal documents.
- Ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, iPad and iPhone.
- Ability to communicate information efficiently and effectively.
- Must be willing to travel (New England area)
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to maintain satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record.
Salary : $35 - $40
