Job Description: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Property Manager /
Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our short-term rental business. We are looking for a self-starter who is willing to do what it takes to deliver results. This individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless management of properties, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and driving operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Property Management:
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and
maintenance standards are met.
- Manage PM schedules and coordinate with vendors and contractors for timely
maintenance and repairs.
- Oversee access control systems to ensure secure and smooth entry for guests
and staff.
2. Operational Oversight:
- Monitor the health of smart locks and manage integration with Guesty and other
software tools.
- Handle month-end financial entries and prepare accurate owner statements.
- Set up and integrate new property listings across various platforms.
3. Revenue Optimization:
- Monitor listing performance and pricing, adjusting as necessary to optimize
revenue.
- Implement event pricing strategies in collaboration with the executive and sales
teams.
4. Guest Experience:
- Monitor guest feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement
solutions.
- Ensure that all properties are guest-ready, providing a consistently high-quality
experience.
5. Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Cleaning Manager, Customer Solutions team, and the
Owner of the company to ensure alignment and efficient operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in property management or a similar operations role, preferably
within the short-term rental or hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of property management systems and tools (e.g., Guesty, Turno,
smart lock integrations).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Financial acumen with experience in preparing financial reports and statements.
- Ability to analyze performance metrics and implement strategies to improve results.
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with pricing and revenue management strategies for short-term rentals.
- Experience with listing platforms such as Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, Expedia, and
management tools like Turno, Monday.com, and Guesty.
- Knowledge of local regulations related to short-term rentals.
