Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Part-Time Catering Clerk to assist with order preparation, maintain high standards for product quality, and provide exceptional service. This role plays a key part in creating positive experiences for our catering customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, provide assistance with catering orders, including answering questions, taking orders accurately, and offering product recommendations.
- Order Preparation: Assist in preparing and packaging catering orders according to company standards, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- Food Safety and Quality: Follow food safety protocols to maintain cleanliness, product quality, and presentation in the catering department.
- Inventory and Restocking: Monitor product levels and help restock supplies and ingredients as needed, ensuring the work area is organized and well-stocked.
- Team Collaboration: Work with other catering and deli team members to fulfill large or complex orders on time.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records for all catering orders, including order details and special instructions, to ensure a seamless process from order to delivery.
- General Support: Assist with other tasks within the catering and deli departments as needed, such as cleaning and organizing workspaces.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Availability: Flexible schedule, with the ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
