Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in finding products and answering questions about our offerings
- Inspect meat products for freshness and quality
- Face merchandise in the department to ensure visual appeal
- Stock and rotate lunchmeat/chicken products to meet customer demand
- Pull out-of-code products from shelves to maintain product integrity
- Learn UPC codes and meat cuts to improve product knowledge
Other Essential Tasks:
- Climb ladders or use the stair tower to reach stock on high shelves
- Stack pallets of merchandise to maintain a safe and efficient working environment
- Build displays to showcase products and create an appealing shopping experience
- Operate equipment such as balers and lifts to facilitate workflow
- Answer calls and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Operate the trash compactor to maintain a clean and organized workspace
