What are the responsibilities and job description for the Configuration Management Analyst, Journeyman position at StraCon Services Group, LLC?
StraCon Services Group, LLC is seeking a Full-Time, Configuration Management Analyst, Journeyman, to join our team in supporting the NAVAIR program office in Patuxent River, MD. The successful candidates shall meet the minimum experience and education requirements and have demonstrated the necessary skills and subject matter expertise to assist with the Functional Description listed below.
Functional Description:
- Provide analysis of technical studies in support of Configuration Control and Management.
- Perform analysis and provide recommendations on ECP’s, contract deliverables, Airframe Bulletins, decision memorandums, implementation letters, technical directives, and Aircraft Change Control documents.
- Provide Configuration Management scheduling and review and prepare hardware and software Configuration Management plans.
- Assist in the preparation of required data deliverables to include tracking timely submissions and government response.
- Familiarity with the NAVAIR AMS suite of tools and Enterprise Change Management (ECM).
- Experience in collecting, organizing and interpreting data relating to the acquisition of aircraft and commodity product programs.
- Experience maintaining configuration control of acquisition products and data.
- Demonstrated ability to assist program team members in CDRL preparation, processing, receipt, and disposition to include use of the program’s CDRL Tool.
- Experience supporting tasking associated with Procurement Initiation Documents (PIDs), and Date Requirements Review Boards (DRRBs).
- Prepare status reports and Contract Notebooks.

Experience Requirements:
- 3-10 years of experience performing duties described in the functional description.
- Verifiable Experience with PMT CDRL and CSP Tool.
- CDRL Tool experience is a firm requirement.
- Verifiable Experience with NAVAIR CM/DM processes, policies and procedures.
- Verifiable Data Management experience.
- MS Tool experience to include extensive experience using SharePoint.
- Strong communication skills and ability/flexibility to communicate to geographically dispersed teammates.
- Knowledge of OTAs and the acquisition process.
Education Requirements:
- BA/BS Degree in relevant field required or 10 more years of experience with NAVIAR CM/DM.
- Allowable Substitutions: Associates Degree with two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for and Bachelor's Degree. Or Four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.

- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $66,129.30 - $110,523.00. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidates level of knowledge, education, experience and skill sets.
