StraCon Services Group, LLC is seeking a Security Specialist, Journeyman. The Security Specialist will independently support the administration of Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Programs (SAP). This role involves performing security and administrative management of assigned SCI and SAP, ensuring that all aspects of security—such as personnel, physical, operations, and communications security—are thoroughly addressed. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a solid understanding of security protocols and will be capable of functioning autonomously while contributing to the overall security posture of sensitive information. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Essential Job Duties:
- Independently manage and support the security administration of SCI and SAP.
- Perform security and administrative management tasks related to assigned SCI and SAP.
- Evaluate and implement security measures across all aspects, including personnel security, physical security, operations security, and communications security.
- Provide oversight to ensure compliance with established security policies and procedures

Experience:
- At least 5 years of recent and relevant experience in security management or related fields.
Education:
- Required Degree: High School diploma or GED.
- Certification: Must obtain Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) within one year of employment and maintain certification throughout employment.
Security Clearance:
- Minimum Requirement: TOP SECRET
- Expected Full Performance Level: TOP SECRET
- U.S. Citizenship is required

The estimated salary range for this position is $85,000 - $125,000 annually. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidates level of knowledge, education, experience and skill sets.
