Case Manager / Special Education Teacher -
Primary Purpose: Ensures that each child has the opportunity to develop to his or her fullest
potential in an academically challenging, supportive, and safe environment. To identify, service,
monitor, and release students with disabilities in accordance with the New Hampshire Rules for
the Education of Children with Disabilities, IDEA, and Strafford School District curriculum,
instruction, and assessment frameworks.
Status: Full Time - This position is designated as a Teacher position subject to the Teachers’
Collective Bargaining Agreement, School Board Policy, and School Rules and Regulations.
Minimum Qualifications: Valid certification or eligibility in area of teaching assignment and
grade level; Highly qualified in area of teaching assignment; Experience and other qualifications
as specified by the Superintendent
Certification Required: Certification or certifiable as a special education teacher by the State of
New Hampshire Department of Education
