Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detailed-oriented service technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning and servicing residential and commercial swimming pools, ensuring they are safe, clean, and function correctly.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning of swimming pools, including skimming debris, vacuuming, and brushing surfaces.
- Empty skimmer baskets, clean filters, and backwash pool filter
- Test and balance water chemistry (pH, chlorine, alkalinity, etc) to maintain safe water quality.
- Inspect pool equipment (pumps, filters, heaters, etc.) and identify any issues.
- Perform basic maintenance and repairs to pool equipment as needed.
- Open pools in the Spring and close pools in the fall.
- Communicate with customers to provide updates, report issues, and offer solutions.
- Maintain accurate service logs and reports
- Adhere to safety and chemical handling procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in pool cleaning or a similar role is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of pool water chemistry and equipment is preferred.
- Hands-on mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a service route.
- Physical ability to lift equipment, bend, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- CPO Certification is a plus.
